Ready… steady… let’s juice baby!!

17th April 2018

Hi Guys! I hope all is great in your world and much like me today you are experiencing some form of Spring. London actually is gorg and Sunny, still cold but a hell of a lot better than it has been lately.

For those that follow me on Instagram and Twitter you will already know about what I’m about to share. Over the last couple of weeks I have taken up a new hobbie which I hope will benefit my health long term. No….. not Salsa Dancing or Spinning I’m talking about ‘Juicing’.

I have been doing loads of research on good foods and bad foods and over the next few months I’m going to work on gradually changing my eating habits and how I take care of myself.

Now trust me when I say I’m the BIGGEST foodie so this is one hell of a challenge but after recently being quite sick I have all the motivation I need.

A lot of you have been getting in touch on DM’s asking about my recipes and details so here goes.

What You Need…..the Simple Max Way To Juice Baby…!!

A Juicer/Blender whatever you call it there are so mnay variations on the market. It has to be a decent size so you can mix a load of fruit greens and liquid, aim to make at least 2 drinks.

Ingredients: Fresh Fruit, Veg, Greens, Ice, Water, Coconut Water.

Chopping Board.

That’s it you honestly don’t need anything else unless you want to be more creative you can add great spices that are really good for you or honey and dates to sweeten the juice even more but in a natural way.

How To Make Your Daily Juice!

Slice your choice of 2 to 3 fruits.

Pick Kale, Spinach or another great dark green ingredient as your base. Also chop it down like your are making a salad.

Throw everything into the blender.

Add 2 to 4 pieces of ice from the freezer, depends how cold you like it. I do 4.

Add a couple splashes of water or coconut water, think the amount you would use if you were making a cup of tea. The more you make your juice, the more you will work out how thick or thin you like it… So you can vary your liquid accordingly.

Blast it in the blender for around 30 seconds. Take a look might need a mix with a spoon depending on your ingredients and strength of blender you are using, than blend again for another 30 seconds. It shouldn’t take more then 60 seconds to blend and create the perfect juice.

Have a large glass ready and pour in that awesome juice and enjoy. I have mine first thing in the morning before my shower and brekkie. I’m greedy so I like a later breakfast.  You could have the juice as your first meal of the day unlike me or take it as your snack for later.

I can tell you it honestly tastes lovely and there are so much natural sugars in the fruit I use that I don’t need to add honey or any other form of added sweeteners. For those of you that don’t like Kale or Spinach the best thing about juicing is the flavours with the fruit and greens together creates something super tasty without that yucky ‘Oh god I’m eating something so bland’ feeling.

Below are three of my fav juice combos to get you started. Also I want to point out if you shop smart it will in the long run save you a lot of money. When you buy a healthy smoothie in your local supermarket you are paying between £2,50 and £4,00 for the same price you can make and buy ingredients to make juices for the whole week. By the way my dress is from Zara don’t you love the recipe!

  1. I always use this juices as a kind of meal replacement right before my work cause they are healthy and if you add things like oats or yoghurt and quark it keeps you saturated. It’s the best way to give your body all it needs. Thank you for giving us all these tasty recipes. And green smoothies can be really tasty if you mix it well 🙂
