2017 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL IN LONDON!!

25th April 2017

Away from my obsession with music and fashion I am a total movie geek. My housemate and besties know the one thing that makes me as happy as a great blowdry from my stylist Jess is a visit to the Picturehouse Cinema for a good movie ( and a medium sweet popcorn).

I’m excited to share that the line up for this years 2017 Sundance Film Festival in London with Picturehouse Central has been announced. From what I understand if you are a member ( I am) you get priority to book passess for the festival from today and everyone else can book from 9,30am Tuesday 2nd May.

For those that have never attended before expect feature films, short films and special events from 1st-4th June. Some of the movies you can expect to see include the premiere of David Lowery’s critically acclaimed ‘A Ghost Story,’ starring Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara plus ‘Beatriz at Dinner’ starring Salma Hayek which looks awesome.

Also there will be discussions with some great guest speakers, giving us a real insight into filmmaking and VIP parties! Geeks I know you are screaming with excitement right now like me.

I find seeing a great movie a total escape and soooo enjoyable. What’s lovely about Sundance festival is that they support flms by new directors alongside movies that sometimes don’t get the big mainstream push but are incredibly though provoking and entertaining.

If you live in London get more details here and if you don’t maybe plan a few days in the capital to enjoy the festival. I can’t wait!

  1. The trailer of “A Ghost Story” is kinda interesting. It makes you want to see more. You don’t know the meaning of the ghost yet BUT they build up the trailer that you definitely want to see the movie. It’s so great that movies which are not so mainstream get the full attention at this festival. It really sounds dope and I hope you discover more awesome movies. Cause these two ones are already a good beginning!
