She can count the late great Prince and Queen Beyonce as fans. Her latest project ‘Dirty Computer is a total vibe. The production is cool, jazzy, soulful and dope.
The album features Zoe Kravitz, Grimes and Pharrell Williams and has a total sensual badass feel. Janelle is just something else, she has this incredible spirit and passion that makes me fall in love with everything she does.
It’s like she lives in her own beautiful world and isn’t afraid to stand out or speak out. We need strong, smart amazing women like this to look at for inspiration and also pleasure. Art isn’t just defined by one thing but more how you choose to live your life in every way.
The song ‘Screwed’ with Zoe is such a ‘F U’ track in the best way possible!! I want to get in a car with a bunch of friends and blast this loud with the sun shining on our faces. Living in London the sun part is unlikely… lol!
Janelle’s project is stunning and she has the juice, pay attention to sassy classy Django Jane!!
I LOVE the vibe in the album! I’ve never really listened to her before, but maybe I will from now on!
