THE WEEKND SNUBBED AT THE GRAMMYS!

24th November 2020

The Grammy Awards take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 31 — Hosted by Trevor Noah from ‘The Daily Show’. It’s fair to say winning a Grammy is something every musician dreams of, well one of the biggest contenders who dropped one of the most successful albums of the year has been snubbed. The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours’ received zero nominations with fans online upset and demanding justice. In the past Abel has won 3 and been up for numerous, but why nothing this year?? We find it strange as it’s one of the biggest selling albums from this year and spawned one of the biggest songs also of the last 12 months ‘Blinding Lights’.

Congrats to Beyonce who leads with 9 nominations for her breathtaking ‘Black Is King’ project, Due Lipa. Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Jhene Aiko and Kanye West also received nominations.
