Congrats to Taylor Swift who won the biggest award of the night ‘Album Of The Year’, thanking her boyfriend Joe Alwyn for listening to her music and supporting the process through lockdown. While also shouting out her fans, collaborators and friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Beyonce made history with her 2 wins, having as many Grammy’s now as legendary Quincy Jones that’s an incredible 28 in case you were wondering. While accepting ‘Best R&B Performance she shared the inspiration behind her recent ‘Black Parade’ project.
“As an artist, I believe it’s my job to reflect the times, and it’s been such a difficult time.So I wanted to uplift, encourage, celebrate all of the beautiful black queens and kings that continue to inspire me and inspire the world.
“I know my daughter is watching. My daughters and my son, Blue, congratulations, you won a Grammy tonight. I’m so proud of you. And I’m so honored to be your mommy, all of your mommies. ‘Y’all are my babies. And I’m so proud of y’all. I love you so much, my rock. Enjoy your night, thank you.”
What an incredible night for Megan Thee Stallion winning ‘Best New Artist’ and 2 other Grammys including ‘Best Rap Song’ for Savage alongside Beyonce. Other winners included Dua Lipa. H.E.R, Harry Style, Kaytranada, H.E.R, Tiara Thomas, Burna Boy, Billie Eilish and brother Finnes winning ‘Record Of The Year’ for ‘Everything I Wanted’.
Shockingly however no wins for ‘Doja Cat’ who has had an incredible year alongside Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion. Reminding us that The Weeknd is one of many artists including Drake and Zayn Malik who have questioned the selection process and asking for an overhaul or in THe Weeknd’s case he will no longer submit his music to be considered for the ceremony. That’s huge coming from an artist that has won big in the past.
