MY FAV 5 PIECES FROM BEYONCE’S ‘IVY PARK’ SEASON 2!
13th March 2017
Beyonce may be pregnant with twins but that doesn’t stop a superwoman!! She has just unleashed her second Ivy Park collection. The visual that accompanies the collection includes actress Yara Shahidi, Sophie Koella, Selah Marley and SZA alongside Beyonce as the faces of the campaign. Words of enpowerment and women embracing their bodies can be heard. God I love Beyonce for always caring enough about the rest of us to share words of inspiration. She does it through her music, social media and now Ivy Park.
I have a real love for sportswear and if someone asked me ‘Max what do you like to wear most’ my answer simply would be what’s considered gym gear. Right now as I’m typing I’m wearing gym shorts ( clean) and a vest with my hair in a big messy bun. I feel comfortable and sometimes even sexy like this. It’s more relaxed and also encourages me to be more active. My theory is if I’m wearing sportswear at some point I will get my ass into gear and go for a walk, run or even the gym ( doesn’t always work tbh)
I have picked out 5 of my fav pieces from the new Ivy Park collection. I love the use of khaki, parker inspired jackets and great detailed leggings. Overall I think I prefer the second collection to the first. Let me know if you are planning to grab any pieces and your favs below.
I love everything about this 2 piece. The neutral pale pink tone is so on trend and the fit is great, showing off you legs. I also love that both the jacket and shorts can be incorporated with other pieces like a skinny pair of jeans or jumper.
Zip Sleeve Jacket £58
The second piece I’m picking are these shorts. They are super cute yet a little edgy with the laced detail on the sides. I would totally wear these every day out and about!
Laced Shorts £38
My third piece are these cool leggings. I’m a big fan of the fishnet panels all across the legs, I want them!
Fishnet leggings £38
My fourth pick is this all white stunning set. I have become a huge fan of whites and lighter tones this season. It’s been all over the catwalk and I find one whole block colour head to toe looks so hot right now.
My fifth and final pick is this green khaki style hoodie with a high neck. You can never have too many hoodies to run around in.
