LONDON IT’S OUR TURN….

16th September 2018

Fashion week has landed in London! Victoria Bechkam, Burberry, Molly Goddard, Temperley London, Julien Macdonald, Matty Bowan, ERDEM and my personal fav Christopher Kane are just some of the many awesome designers showing their collections. Congrats to Alexa Chung who had her debut show for M2M. She has gone form front row to designer and has worked her ass off in the process.

Important to point out London is the first place that has a total ‘No Fur’ allowed on catwalks, which I hope influences the rest of the world to follow. Faux-fur is so good that we really have no excuse to be wearing real furand harming our planet.n

Happy 10-year anniversary to Mary Katrantzou who wowed LFW with her latest Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Perfume shapped beautiful bright tunic dresses with detailed crystal embroideries and incredible inflated jackets/dresses and accessories to die for…. Check out the stunning veils and those bubble wrap style hats, I’m in love!

The Queen of Ruffles and fun Molly Goddard didn’t disappoint either at LFW! The fact Rihanna is a big fan and wears her dresses makes me so happy. Here is a lady that makes clothes with elegance in mind more than anything else. She shows you can look sexy in a huge dress with sheer moments to tease the world with your beauty. The colours she chooses are just as impactful as the over the top ruffles, Gingham and signature retro style she is getting known for.

Matty Bovan gives me life!! I love his flamboyant don’t give a shit with rules approach to Fashion. He truly has fun and reminds me to let loose and clash colour, fabrics and patterns when the mood hits me. He also shows a real love for Vivienne Westwood in his style, I’m sure she is an inspo. This collection might not be ready to wear but it’s so important to British Fashion to have free spirits like Matty who give us permission to play at dress up.
