DOES GIRL CODE STILL EXIST???

I was looking at the pics of Selena today with Abel ( The Weeknd) the 2 were spotted kissing and looking very much together. I couldn’t help but think of Bella, Abel’s ex girl-friend. Don’t get me wrong if you are single you can date whoever you want but I always think don’t rub it in sometimes face.
Selena has always been such a sweet person and supportive of others girls. Even when you take a pic with her, she shows you how to pose and feel great. I think seeing her so openly sharing her new relationship with Abel in this way surprised me. She has always like Abel been a private person especially after the whole Bieber nightmare. To see her now outside a celeb hotspot like Giorigio Baldi restaurant and then stand for so long hugging and kissing does feel a little staged and unlike the both of them?
Whatever the case and if they are about to release music together ( I think Sel might be making music with him) I still think it’s a little sad that neither of them thought about how Bella would feel. Photos are everywhere and the whole world is talking about it today.
It got me thinking about ‘Girl Code’ what does that mean to you?? I will tell you what it means to me…
1 Have each each others backs.
2 Never fight over guys or date each others ex’s
3 Don’t say she looks great in that if she really doesn’t (goes back to my first point)
4 Check in on each other and do ‘Girls Nights in and out’ to cheer each other up.
5 Don’t do anything that you wouldn’t want done to you.
Basically be real and don’t be a mean girl! Although Selena and Bella are not besties they do know each other and I’m sure Selena can imagine how she would feel. She has had to see Bieber with a ton of girls recently including Sofia Ritchie and from my memory did lash out about it.
Sometimes we fall for people when we least expect it, rebound, rebelling and even a distraction from life. BUT why not keep it private and yours till it’s defo something worth screaming and shouting about?? Bella today must feel like crap and my girl code says Selena should have held it down.

The GIRL CODE is so important to me. It would be too odd for me to hang out or start a thing with an ex from a friend of mine. Sure love happens,when it happens. But it never happened to me cause I never felt attracted to a boy that my friends dated. Plus the thing is our friends are always there for us. In good and in bad times and especially when a boy/man breaks our heart. A girlfriend is always there and this fact should be treasured.
