DON’T MESS WITH JACKIE…

I adore going to the movies as most of you that visit my blog regularly will know! So I have decided I will be featuring my reviews on some of the hottest most hyped movies. Today comes the turn of ‘Jackie’. It’s a film based on the first lady Jackie Kennedy who was married to John Kennedy, also known as JFK. He was a President that was assanaited shockingly while his wife was sat right next to him.
Now I knew of Jackie and her style through my love of fashion but I didn’t know much more then that. This movie was fascinating, it is based on a true story and allows us to get to know this lady who is very composed and incredibly distraught almost simultaneously.
Natalie Portman is an actress that always seems to pick roles that push her out her comfort zone. A total transformation from the way she looks to the voice and character she becomes. I found it a little strange getting used to the way she spoke in the movie as she has had to change her natural tone and the way she expresses her words. However 20 min in I was hooked and feeling like a sponge acquiring all this knowledge and history that I barely knew anything about.
The film visually was beautiful and Natalie’s style as Jackie looked every much like the front cover of a Vogue magazine. I’m so glad I went to see it, let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!
