READY STEADY LET’S DO YOGA!!

It mid January and I have been totally yo-yoing with my training and eating. Rather then beat myself up about it, I’m treating today as a new day and starting a fresh. There is nothing wrong with having treats but not every day if you want to lose weight. I love chips and could happily eat them with every meal for the rest of my life. I realise when the weather is colder I eat so much more. Slices of hot toast become like my best mate as I blog.

Defo think it’s harder when you work at home or for yourself as you literally have a fridge and cupboards in easy reach. I think taking my laptop out and working with a mate or by myself in a cafe or at my gym is such a better plan for a few days in the week when I’m not on shoot days.

I have suggested ways to be more motivated and healthier in a recent post here. Check it out I think it will help. Also if you can’t get to the gym i love Adrianne for Yoga on Youtube and discovered Carly Rowena recently who gives great tips on fitness and food ( her abs are wow)

Yoga is something I started a couple of months ago and I have to say it’s my fav class I do. It’s relaxing also great for flexibility, balance and well being.

Most gyms have classes that include Yoga, so go a long to a beginners class and have a go. I promise you it will be one of the best things you do. I’m quite a busy bee so for me Yoga has been amazing but difficult too. Let me explain amazing because it makes me spend 40 min stopping from my hectic life and listening to my body and letting it work better. Difficult because my mind is always thinking so much that trying to slow it down and focus on my practice in Yoga has been quite a chore.

I have an amazing teacher Sarah, her energy and personality is beautiful and so uplifting. She totally rocks and her body is goals on a next level. Yoga not only helps you mentally it totally can help you reshape your body with better posture.

I will post vids on my Instagram and hopefully get Sarah and her fine ass involved in the coming weeks to show you some of the moves. At the moment the Child’s Pose it one of my favs and Downward Facing Dog Pose. LOL they do have funny names!
