Versace’s Spring/Summer 2017 Ready-To-Wear Collection is sporty, sexy and super strong!! What I love about Donatella’s new collection is that she has totally incorporated the current street and sports inspired trend, Some of these looks are basically high-end amazing tracksuits made out of beautiful fabrics with a splash of the hottest seasonal colours. She has still kept her signature stunning and very sexy dresses that has made the brand famous teaming them up with killer platform style heels that I’m totally in love it. The whole socks in shoes look is not going away and I for one love it!
I think this whole ‘Ready-to-Wear vibe with a lot of designers has really made them think about being accessible and thinking more about that normal girl who loves fashion rather the ones that sit front row and live in a different world to the rest of us. I say this too often but fashion should be enjoyed by all of us, no matter your job, race, size or background. Money does not always buy style, I will always remember that saying from being a kid….
I adore it and can’t afford most of this stuff but I get inspiration and pleasure from admiring it. Every now and then I invest in a great piece whether its an amazing Mulberry bag or a Vivienne Westwood simple but beautifully structured dress. It’s all about mixing and matching and not being afraid to put your own spin on a catwalk look that has you obsessing!
