Writer and Director Alberto Sciamma has created comedy ‘I Love My Mum’ that will leave you giggling while escaping from your normal life.
The basic plot is, a mother and son on a mission to make it back home after accidentally getting stuck in Morocco ( long story, watch the film all will make sense I promise).
Their relationship is dysfunctional at the least and a side twist is that Ron played by (Tommy French) is actually not English but actually French and needs a passport and wants to meet his long lost dad! I know a lot going on, no toilet breaks or you might miss a wedding, a karaoke contest and a car exploding with cocaine!
The story is very farfetched but I think that’s deliberate. I honestly found it fun and also loved Kierston Wareing. She plays Ron’s mum Olga and is a total Katie Price lookalike. Loud, super sexy, in an inappropriate and embarrassing way, but lovely under it all if you dig hard enough.
