‘UNICORNS’ CROSS CULTURAL ROMANCE!

Single father Luke (Ben Hardy, Bohemian Rhapsody) has a chance encounter with drag queen Aysha (Jason Patel) after accidentally stumbling across an underground British Asian nightclub. Though their chemistry is immediate, Luke isn’t queer and Aysha, who out of drag goes by Ashiq, is a closeted man hiding his sexuality from his traditional Indian Muslim family. As their lives become entwined they both must question who they are and if labels even matter in this emotional search for identity. Co-directed by award winning director Sally El Hosani (The Swimmers) and James Krishna Floyd (My Brother the Devil) in his writing and directorial debut, Unicorns has screened at Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival.
UNICORNS is out 5th July just in time for Pride Celebrations!
