SCREAM 5 IS FUN, SARCASTIC, NOSTALGIC AND A LITTLE SCARY!
12th January 2022
Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past!
Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar. Super-fans Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett who started directing after watching Wes Craven’s Scream sagas have done a great job. They have managed to make humour and nostalgia the biggest part of the movie without it feeling recycled, boring and predictable. Everything has a hint of sarcasm and wit, which makes the latest Scream fun to watch especially if you are a fan of the previous ones.
Having the three main original cast back adds an element of familiarity and love for these characters but the new generation add this brash, self-assertive, opinionated, bold, modern twist to this classic teen slasher movie! SCREAM 5 is out Friday 14th Jan 2022 in U.K cinemas!
