NYFW is about to commence! I have spent the last few years working in music and obsessing over fashion on the side! I may not be a fully fledged member of the fashionista world!! But that won’t stop me from sharing my fav shows, models, and front row babes this month! Good skin, good hair and no pizza for a few weeks babes, let’s do it!!!!
Here are my 5 #MaxEssentials to NYFW pay attention!!
1 Kanye West just launched his Yeezy Season 4 collection! He had his wifey Kim Karadahian and Jenner sisters Kylie & Kendall sitting front row in his new creations!! I’m not quite sure what to make of the show as the images and footage I’m seeing show models walking badly in shoes that are clearly uncomfortable and not the right size. It kinda took my attention away from the clothes …
I’m not sure if this was all planned or just went wrong on the day, you never quite know with Kanye if there is a secret message. Let’s focus on the clothes, again more neutrals which he has always been a fan of, sweatshirts, combat style jackets with hoods teamed up with killer thigh highs. Nothing we haven’t seen before, come on Kanye I expected more???
Kanye also once again showed a variety of black models again highlighing the lack of diversity in fashion. The collection hasn’t evolved much but does have more dresses and amazing baggy clear thigh-highs boots!
When I look at the pieces I can’t help but think Kanye makes clothes with mostly Kim in mind and his fans. With variations in the street look teamed with a sexy 90’s ghetto fabulous style. Everything in this collection is defo wearable on the plus side not sure about all the spanx style pieces however. Kanye has created a collection for a mainstream, high-street music fan! I personally would wear the flesh tone body with a skinny jean and maybe the boots with a cool jumper dress.
Having three of the most powerful famous women sitting from row Kim, Kendall and Kylie wearing your stuff totally co-signs it. Clever marketing or just a coincidence…. hummm!!
2 Gigi Hadid joins Tommy Hilfiger this week to show off their new collection #TOMMYXGIGI. I have previewed a lot of this collection already check out in the galleries below. I think it will a huge highlights at NYFW as one of the most influential models in the game Gigi much like her bestie Kendall will pull out all the stops this week!
Expect Bella, Hailey and Kendall waking the runway. The collection will be available to buy straight away too!

3 Tom Ford is probably one of the most glamours designers in fashion. Responsible for dressing Beyonce and Rihanna. His show this week was stunning and so very classy! Rather then a front row he had a beautiful dinner table set up with the likes of Zayn Malik, Naomi Campbell ( beautiful) Cindy Crawford and Rita Ora in attendance. Special mention to babe Gigi Hadid who walked the runway like a Queen!

4 Kylie Jenner will be pulling out all the stops to get noticed at NYFW! She is already rocking new platinum blonde hair and has just been announced as one of the faces of the new #Wang campaign alongside Zoe Kravitz and Big Sean. Plus had her own pop up store launch with sister Kendall for their latest collection earlier this week!

5 The most important lady in fashion Anna winter and her big stunners will be sitting front row at every key show! Through her Vogue website and Snapchat she plans to be the biggest media outlet online. Expect backstage pics, hanging with Kimye and lots of resting bitch face stares.
