A new musician that is talented as hell, meet Maeta!
She has just released her highly anticipated stunning EP, Habits. It features previously released singles including the Kaytranada-produced massive track “Teen Scene” to soulful “Toxic” produced by Skrillex.
Habits includes new music like the deeply personal love letter “Gift,” the confidence boosting “Bitch, Don’t Be Mad” and the dreamy, melancholic track “Doesn’t Mean a Thing.” Habits is a reflection of Maeta’s personal growth over the past year. including stories of toxic relationships, finding her own confidence, and moving to Los Angeles just before the pandemic hit.
My EP, Habits, is about everything that comes with being in a toxic relationship – love, anger, sex, growth, self esteem. I was finding my way through one during the making of this project, so it was like therapy for me during that time. I’m so excited for everyone to hear this project, and my hope is that people connect with the music and feel uplifted, healed, and understood.
