KEEPING UP WITH DIOR!!

It’s not about what you look like but how you feel…. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but in my mind I adore fashion and music, it’s just a part of me and the way I express myself. You don’t have to have a wardrobe full of Dior, Chanel or Stella McCartney to love this world or have an opinion that matters. That’s no shade on anyone but more me wanting to encourage you to enjoy everything you have a passion for without rules. Maria Grazia Chiuri totally rocked out her latest #DiorCruise18. I feel like she managed to incorporate a strong woman with lots of feminine charm, great hats, oversized coats with stunning sheer embroidered dresses. Set in what felt and looked like a safari in the desert hills in Calabasas, home to the Kardashians, there was a lot going on with this collection.

I liked a lot of it and found the different pieces very versatile. I do however feel sad that real fur was used when faux fur looks just the same. It’s a personal choice so I’m not going to bash anyone for wearing it, but I will say this we do have an alternative so I wish celebs and designers would pick that option instead.
I can imagine teaming up the various looks with great boots and hair scraped back like I’m on some 90’s super model vibe! ( which I’m clearly not)
Dior also managed to get regular collaborator Rihanna front row, who let’s face it is the hottest female in the game. While the amazing Solange took care of the entertainment for the night. Dior is such an iconic brand and has managed to stay relevant and pull in the right collections and faces to stay at the top of the fashion world.
I love that they value bloggers and seem to pick the ones that truly love style like Negin Mirsalehi and Aimee Song. Here are girls that write, create beautiful images that they share with the world rather then just another pretty girl on Instagram.
