IT’S THE WEEKND!!!

It’s officially The Weeknd!! He just unleashed his 18 track new album titled ‘Starboy’. I have been waiting for this project for a while and have to say he has fully delivered! Abel is still singing about reckless stuff that we love him for, he is truly an R&B rockstar!! It’s a boasy, sexy, cool accessible album, without compromise. Sound wise he seems to of been influenced by the 80’s and that whole classic soul vibe. Also I feel like he is showing a different more softer romantic side to his character on some songs, ( Bella influence)?? ‘Rockin & ‘SideWalks’ are straight tunes!!!
He has worked with Lana Del Ray, Future, Daft Punk and Kendrick Lamar on the new project, which all work and sound authentic. It’s very hard for me to critic The Weeknd as an artist as I’m truly a fan.
I have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and chatting with him and what I can tell you he is all about representing the culture and where he comes from. He is a proud loyal and cool guy. Super sweet and very grateful for all the success with a great team! I don’t think I will ever forget he sold out the O2 in London which holds 20,000 people when he was still regarded as a specialist Urban artist with no Pop radio support!! Congrats Abel…. track 5 Rockin is huge and a total vibe!! But kinda gutted Zane got your first interview??? LOL!! What about me??
