GIVE THEM SOME FACE BABE!

Spring Summer 2017 looks like being a fun time in style for all us! Clothes wise bold colours like yellow, orange and red have been all over the runways and now I think the make-up is totally following suit.
I’m quite a natural make-up type of girl unless I’m sitting in front of a make-up artist I literally want them to contour me and make me look away I can’t make myself. I think I have that element of being a little girl wanting to play in my mums make-up bag.
My routine at the moment takes me literally 10 minutes. It consists of Nars Foundation and concealer, brow pencil, mascara and then blush with a dash of powder on top. Lips wise I’m more a vaseline type of girl, keeping them moisturized maybe I will use a liner just to lift it sometimes.
I do love make-up and feel I still haven’t fully mastered the art of creating multiple looks that I can just go to when I fancy it. Defo something I would love to be able to do.
Selena this week looked stunning with this bold orange lid and great foundation look on her skin teamed with a tight edgy low bun. I know most of us hide behind our hair #guilty! But I think there is away of pinning some of you hair back if your make-up has been applied by you or an artist in such an effotless beautiful way you want to totally show of your face gurrlll!!
The way Selena is rocking this great orange works as everyting else is simple and it is really all about her eyes. Matching the dress and earrings i wouldn’t advise all of us to do… Sel is a goddess and has an amazing style squad!!
Shay Mitchell recently launched a great palette with SmashBox which has several shades that pop. If you fancy creating something daring and using Selena as inspiration have a play around with these colours. Smashbox seem to have fun with their cosmetics and also have so many shades perfect for this season.
Best way to master this look aside from practicing and watching great make-up artists on Youtube I would suggest a day sat in front of the mirror with no plans to go anywhere. Just lay it all in front of you and have a practice, maybe get a mate around who fancies a go too. You can help each other and get a different opinion just in case you are like me a perfectionist and are never quite satified with your effort.
Remember make-up is supposed to enhance your natural features so don’t hide behind it. Use it to showcase your prety face and have fun.
