The Victoria Secrets show is one of the most exciting beautiful plus slightly soul destroying times in the year. Let me explain my thoughts, it’s the one time that some of the worlds most stunning models rock a runway in lingerie while a few incredible music acts perform. In the past Rihanna, Taylor and Ed Sheeran have all performed. I was lucky enough to attend 2 years ago when it was live in London for the first time.
The security checks were high, the models were flawless in their iconic VS gowns and the backstage was buzzing with make up artists, stylists and hair tongs.
I remember feeling very surprised that only the few super models seemed to have a couple of people as their glam squad while everyone else shared and waited their turn plus in some cases like the beautiful Joan Smalls they were actually applying their own make up in parts.
The models were super fit and had great skin and hair ( PLUS ABS FOR DAYS) Everyone I talked to spoke about the months and months they spent in training and nutrition to be ready for the show. This made me feel a little better as I looked at these goddessess in front of me, thank god they didn’t say ‘Its my gentics, I do nothing’!
It’s inspiring and also quite intimidating being around women that basically look almost perfect and not feel a little inadequate. Having said that I have found all the models I have interviewed including Cara, Jourdan, Rosie and Joan always so funny and friendly during out interviews. They don’t give of a bitch vibe or a hint of arrogance.
This year the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is heading to Paris for the first time with Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Lady Gaga performing, how awesome will they be. Abel’s girlfriend Bella Hadid will also be walking the runway for the first time alongside her sis Gigi, Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk and Jasmine Tookes. In total 52 amazing women will be strutting their stuff down that famous catwalk,

The experience is amazing and will leave you wanting to hit the gym hard and eat a lot better… although that feeling passes quite quickly sadly!

How utterly amazing are there costumes, the designers are incredible. While the girls are playing the ultimate barbie dress up! Yes there bodies are damnnnnn but let’s be inspired not green eyed monsters for this month… lol!
