The forbidden love affair between a 1960s couple (Shailene Woodley and Callum Turner) is uncovered by an ambitious present-day journalist (Felicity Jones) after she finds a trove of secret love letters. Adapted from Jojo Moyes’ sweeping, romantic novel and also starring Joe Alwyn and Nabhaan Rizwan.
This film is such a breath of fresh air, romantic, funny and so easy to watch. Felicity does funny and adorable so well with Jojo Moyes story it makes for a dynamite combination. Shailene is stunning and every time she is on screen you get lost in her wardrobe and the whole 60’s vibe. Both Felicity and Shailene also took on the job as executive producers on this film, being so hands on makes this movie incredibly special to both, directing duties came from Augustine Frizzell, so the ladies were truly in charge on this one.
