MET GALA 2018 RED CARPET!!
7th May 2018
It’s that time of year again MET GALA!!!
So while the worlds hottest women and men team up with the best designers to showcase some incredible costumes to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art I’m sitting here with my hair in a bun and PJ’s excited like a kid in a sweet shop.
Every year it is really all about one woman who always steals the show, the simply divine Rihanna. She dares and wins everytime with the creations and designers she chooses to team up with. RiRi totally nails the brief and makes her arrival the most exciting. The theme is perfect this year “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”.
But I can’t take it away from all the other beauties that spend months training, prepping and getting Met Ball ready.
This years hosts are Queen Rihanna, Amal Clooney and designer Donatella Versace. Great choices and all three are incredible women in their own right.
Amal Clooney arrived with her hubby George by her side wearing this corset style dress with trousers designed by Richard Quinn.
Anna Wintour the lady in charge rocked Chanel while her stunning daughter Bee Shaffer was in a beautiful red Valentino gown!
Rita Ora always has fun and lives for dressing up. Her headpiece took 3 days to make and she teamed it with that long amazing blonde mane. Head to toe in Prada.
Lookalike model Jasmine Sauders decided on all gold by H&M with a Princess to the floor dress while her hair looked beautiful all twisted with roses. Bvlgari High Jewelry topped off the whole look.
Yes to Lily Collins in this black vampy edgy number by Givenchy.
Sza looks beautiful and can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned. I love the head piece that is teamed with this angelic pale pink Versace dress. While Bella Hadid did leather, latex and long gloves by Chrome Hearts..
And once again Rihanna stole the show with her beautiful costume while looking so happy! God this girl makes it look so effortless every year. This Margiela look is strong, beautiful and a total statement. I love, love, love everything about it.
My other fav was Blake Lively who looked beautiful in Versace. This gown is stunning a sheer-paneled crimson skirt and a bodice for a goddice. Shoe designer Christian Louboutin was right by her side all night.
Also yes to British babes Adwoa Aboah and Cara Delevigne who looked so badass I’m living for their vibe!! I see lots off Dior!! Let me know your fav look in the comment section below!!
