WIN YOUR WAY INTO THE VIP WORLD OF FESTIVALS THIS SUMMER!!
14th April 2016
Festival season is almost here!! It’s my fav time of the year and there are so many to choose from. Glastonbury this year is headlined by Adele, while V festival has Rihanna, and then we have Wireless Festival with Chase & Status plus J Cole. Over the pond it is all about Coachella, which takes place over three days, Calvin Harris is the first DJ in Coachella history to headline and I’m sure will be planning an epic set which will include guests and new music.
Two of my fav festivals in the UK are ‘Parklife’ and the other is a brand new one called ‘Wildlife’ the brainchild of Disclosure and Rudimental. They both take place the same weekend 11th & 12th June in Brighton and the other in Manchester. The full-line ups are below and it’s fair to say are killer.
How do you fancy going VIP style??? Sounds amazing right!! Well here’s what you need to do, answer the question below in the comment section and leave a contact email for us to get in touch, plus don’t forget to put down which festival you are entering to go to, so either ‘Parklife’ or ‘Wildlife’
The two winners have to be over 16 and will be selected at random from all the right answers. You have until April 30th to enter!! Good luck!!!
Q : Rudimental have worked with Ed Sheeran on two songs but which one had Ed singing about ‘Red Wine’???
A: Lay It All On Me.

Festivals are not just about great live music but also an opportunity to plan some killer outfits to rock out in. What you wear and which festival you go to has become such a big deal. Trust me when I say celebs have been planning their outfits for this season probably since March and getting their management to make sure they have passes!! Brit gals rock it more classic with a total rock edge, while our American sisters go for a more colourful and pretty vibe.
I have hosted shows backstage at festivals including including V and Wireless and have to say the atmosphere is nuts and manic, but such a buzz. There is something quite exciting about spotting the likes of Beyonce and the Beckhams backstage supporting friends and family.

Also anything goes, denim, leather, silk, lycra whatever, just remember to look comfortable and not like you are going out to a club. Heels wise the rule is wedges or boot style square heel, don’t be that one fool walking in stilettos unless you are on stage, plus it’s so uncomfortable.
My fav ‘Festival Style Babes’ are Kate Moss who should have ‘Festival’ as her middle name. She is effortless, hot and get’s the look down in such a cool don’t give a fudge way’!!
The other girl that seems to get it right is Vanessa Hudgens, she has fun and is colourful with her choices, a hippy at heart. I love her style she plays with wigs, dresses, boots and is the Queen of accessories.
My one tip is no rules just enjoy yourself and rock what you feel amazing and comfy in. Remember it’s a long day and sometimes weekend, so shirts around the waist, cute cover ups, bombers, bikers, caps, head-scarfs all go plus don’t forget your shades!! Get a couple of cheap fun ones from TopShop or Zara that look great and if you do get them scratched you won’t care. It’s a festival dance, enjoy music and hang with the ones that bring out the best in you!!
