BEST LEGS IN THE GAME!!
10th April 2016
The MTV Movie Awards 2016 took place in sunny L.A this weekend! I’m obssesed with award shows and that all important red-carpet. I remember Demi Lovato saying once ‘the best place to be at during a red carpet is at home in your pj’s watching and drooling in bed.’
I have been lucky enough to report and host from many red carpets and I have to say award shows are the best, such a blast!!
Why? Well the girls go all out, prepping sometimes for months for the right outfit. Then with help from their glam squad they create the hair, make-up and final accessories to hopefully create a look that the next day is all over the headlines around the world.
My fav girls were out in full swing looking every inch like goddesses. Special mention to wild-child Cara Delevigne for slaying in a Balmain jumpsuit, looking like she just stepped out of a super hero movie.
Actress Charlize Theron wore a beautiful lace Givenchy knee lenght dress looking soo flawless, teaming it up with minimal make-up and her hair scraped back. It takes a confidend woman that can wear her hair all back, I have not mastered that quite yet, work in progress….
Got to give it up to the girl with the best legs in the game Kendall Jenner in an amazing black Kristian Aadnevik gown with Dsquared2 RiRi sandals, she has legs for days. While bestie Gigi went for a total different vibe in a pinstripe suit by ….I think Versace and a fun fringe wig. Not my fav look she has ever done, but I do like the fact that she has decided this time to be less sexy and more powerful, a tailoured suit will always show off a badass woman.
The 2 besties who have nicknamed themselves as KenGi then got changed into these hot street/catwalk inspired looks. Lots of silk, beautiful pastel colours and oversized coats…. ohh and let’s not forget their signature thigh high boots! I love everything Kendall & Gigi have on, well done super stylist Monica Rose, you have done it again.
Other ladies that also walked and dazzled the red carpet included Jessica Chastain, Halsey, Lizzy Capian, Daisy Ridley and the beautiful Halle Berry!!
